Mr Price’s reporting has improved significantly over prior years and it appears that leadership is engaged and taking charge of issues that previously were not on the radar.  While this enthusiasm appears to have started with the fulfilment side of the business (employees and the supply chain), there is as yet little evidence that leadership engages meaningfully with feedback from customers, in terms of preferences, satisfaction and treatment in the sales process.

Despite the general improvement in awareness, Mr Price is particularly weak in its performance reporting across the board. This deficiency would limit leadership’s ability to engage with challenges facing the business and create sound strategies with sustainable advantage.
