GFI’s report is generally well structured and offers excellent strategic insight from the pen of the CEO. Quality of reporting is on par with the best in the peer group for providing context, taking charge with accountability and responding strategically, but is let down by generally mediocre performance reporting, despite the clear presentation of the Group Performance Scorecard. However, linkages between this scorecard and performance against material issues could be significantly improved.
