Sections of the report introduced by executives and written directly to the reader in an active voice help reveal the mind of the leadership and add to impression that the leadership applies its mind to issues with a sense of responsibility and long-term thinking.
Frankness and candour in presenting challenges sets this report up for a mature discussion of response in the form of meaningful targets and strategy to achieve them.
